A bet to remember: Ashley Revell

Ashley Revell is a name that has become famous over the night as the new legend in roulette history. This man, who belonged to Kent, decided to sell away every material thing he had and betted it at a roulette table in Vegas. His property was worth around $135,300. Ashley, unbelievably, betted all this money on a single spin of the roulette wheel.

Ashley betted his entire property on the red colour and the wheel was spun. As the ball stopped everyone had held their breath. The final outcome of the game was the number 7, and the colour was red. Ashley doubled his property within a few moments. When asked whether he had decided the bet earlier or not, he claimed that the decision was completely prompt.

Ashley claims that the reason behind taking such a great risk was that he wanted to start his life anew. So either the n=won money would have helped or the money that he would have lost would have left him at the very beginning of it all. Ashley had even sold his clothes and had to rent a suit to wear to go to the casino.

The entire event was covered a channel called SkyOne, with the broadcast moving a few minutes behind the real event as live transmissions are forbidden in a casino.

When Ashley had contacted the casinos most of them were not ready to accept a bet that involved such a large amount. The other reason was had Ashley gone bankrupt in the gamble it would have caused bad publicity for the casino. The casino that Ashley had finalized backed out just a few days before the bet was going to be played out. Ashley soon found out a new casino, the Plaza Hotel Casino.

Once Ashley reacted with the following words,” that was just the most amazing experience I have ever had in my life”. He even tipped the dealer with $600. When urged to gamble all the money again by the crowd around, Ashley refused and took the money and went back to his home town.

Ashley used the money to establish his own gambling website. That is all the information people have of him these days, though. Not much is known about this legendary risk taker today.
